Karl at Pile of O’Melays commented on my last blight post and mentioned using cornmeal to help combat it. I’ve never heard of this before and am very interested in hearing from others who have tried this with some success. So I’m calling out to all blight sufferers:
How do you combat this organically? And to what degree of success did you have with your methods?
Thanks!! 🙂

blight
If it’s early blight, you can spray with a milk:water solution mixed 1:4 (one part milk, four parts water). Spray every three days and be diligent about the schedule.
When sunlight hits the milk it acts as a fungicide for a short time.
I read this in Mother Earth News this year and tried it. It definitely slowed my blight, but did not eradicate it.
That’s the best I’ve seen as far as organic methods.
