I am participating in the Garden Bloggers Bloom Day, which happens every 15th of the month and was started by Carol over at May Dreams Gardens. I took all these within the last hour, so it’s all fresh and blooming as I type. Enjoy! Peace!
Diamond Frost:

Wild Sunflower just outside the fence…we let these go with some maintenance:

I don’t know what this is. It is growing from the middle of some curly looking grass we planted in one of the big pots and I forgot to write down the name on the tag! Doh!:

Snapdragons still going strong:

It's nice to see more Austin bloggers participating in Bloom Day, Cat. You have a beautiful selection. That blue spiky bloom in the grass looks like liriope.
Hi Cat,
Love the colours in your garden. The hibiscus is spectacular. Love the butterfly bush and larkspur. There's so much hope in seeing veggie blooms! Happy GBBD!
Hi Cat, I am so glad you stopped by…I love meeting Austin Gardeners/Bloggers…such a friendly group and a lot of fun. Yo have many of my favorites in bloom…I have to smile seeing larkspur blooming with rudbeckia…one is a spring bloom for us the other a summer. have a great time today…btw, you have a beautiful family. gail
It's all so beautiful!!! I can't wait to come to Austin one day! I'll have to come in the spring/early summer 🙂
I think your mystery purple bloom there is 'monkey grass' as ours along the walk way has the same blooms. They will also have purple 'berries' later on. I used to love picking the berries. As far as I know, they are not edible, not sure if they're poisonous or anything. But still fun to pick the whole stem of berries in one swoop!
My guess for the mystery purple flower is grape hyacinth, but that should have come up ages ago. I like the monkey grass guess. 🙂
Beautiful flowers! I love your black-eyed susans.
Beautiful, I love zinnias : )
Lovely to see tomato blooms!
You really have quite an assortment of blooms. The Black-Eyed Susans are my favorite. I remember meadows filled with them growing the White Mountains of AZ.
Hi Cat,
Your flowers are beauties. I like that hibiscus, It's really different than any Ive seen here in upstate NY. Thanks for the glimpse into your garden and I agree- Yay for tomatoes and cucumbers!
